“The opposite of addiction is connection” -Johann Hari

Joining the team as the Clinical Program Director is Justin Taylor. Prior to entering the substance use treatment field, he witnessed the impact of drugs and/or alcohol while working as a crisis response worker in Camden County and within the inner city of the Philadelphia school system. Justin obtained a Master’s Degree in Social Work, with  a specialization in addictions, so that he could not only improve himself but also his skills to further address the needs of individuals within the field.

In his free time, Justin enjoys spending quality time with his wife, Nichole, their son, Jack, and their two rescue dogs Leo and Linus. Justin’s family loves spending time outdoors, on the water, and at the gym.

Shawn McBrien

COO
“Build your own dreams, or someone else will hire you to build theirs.” – Farrah Gray.

Intrigued with the thought of being able to help others find freedom in recovery, Shawn began his career as a recovery house manager and fell in love with providing the structure and accountability that helped him so much early on in his personal journey.  Over the next few years, his roles and responsibilities grew from house manager, to supervisor roles, to director of operations.

For over 5 years, Shawn has been a noteworthy leader in the treatment industry.  As a person in long term recovery Shawn credits the structure and accountability of the facility he found sobriety in as the building block to the life he lives today.  This led to Shawn being a believer that having the proper training and policies in place allows the staff to take the guesswork out of day to day operations and focus on best utilizing their skillset, aiming to provide quality care to clients and help fulfill their purpose of helping others.  As a leader, Shawn maintains that by putting employees first mentality cultivates a culture of community which trickles down to the patients, and fosters an atmosphere of belonging and purpose which is vital to the recovery process.

Shawns objective for co-founding Epiphany Wellness, as the Chief Operating Officer is to create an environment where clients as well as staff are given all of the tools to reach their full potential and grow together as a community.
