Our Programs

Our substance abuse services guide you through your journey from detox all the way to an aftercare program. Our outpatient treatment options allow you to maintain your life and autonomy outside of a recovery setting. Not only will you still be able to attend work, school, and tend to family obligations, but you will also be able to put your mindfulness and coping skills between therapy sessions.

Detox
Detox is the first step in seeking treatment. Before you begin your programs, you must rid your body of addictive and harmful substances. Unlike traditional detox, medically assisted detox takes a comfort-first approach that alleviates the symptoms of withdrawal so that your transition into treatment is as stress-free and pain-free as possible.
Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)
PHP is our most high-touch level of care, designed for clients who either need more support or are transitioning from an inpatient rehabilitation program. Our clients typically spend up to four weeks in our PHP program. PHP Program scheduling is Monday through Saturday 9am-2:45pm.
Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
This level of care is ideal for those who aren’t quite ready for Outpatient but don’t require as much support as PHP, our IOP clients participate in therapies beginning at 5 days per week for 3 hours per day, reducing to 3 days per week for 3 hours per day. IOP Program scheduling is offered Monday-Saturday 9am-12pm, or Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 5:30pm-8:30pm
Outpatient Program (OP)
OP is the lowest level of acuity at Epiphany Wellness. This programming is for clients who aren’t ready to completely exit a recovery environment, but are nearing readiness for aftercare. Our Outpatient Program begins with 3 days per week for just one hour per day, with an individual session once weekly, group therapy once weekly, and one medical while in the program.
Aftercare
Recovery isn’t “done” once you transition out of your program. It is something that you must recommit to every day. An aftercare program helps you transition to life outside of a recovery environment and give you the extra support you need as you return to day to day activities.
Dual Diagnosis
Treatment of co-occurring disorders requires a holistic approach. At Epiphany Wellness, we treat the root cause of drug and alcohol addiction so that you can feel whole again.

What We Treat

Frequently Asked Question About Seeking Substance Abuse Treatment From a Tennessee Recovery Center

Below are answers to some of the most frequently asked questions about substance abuse treatment.
Most major health insurance providers cover admission into addiction recovery, including Medicaid and Medicare. During your initial consultation, our admissions specialists will confirm your benefits with your insurance provider.

Whether you’re coming from Memphis, Murfreesboro, Knoxville, Chattanooga, right here in Nashville, or across the country, you are welcome at our alcohol and drug rehab center.

Many of our clients relocate temporarily or even on a permanent basis to attend our Tennessee rehab programs. However, keep in mind that if you are coming from out of the area, you may not be in-network and your insurance may not cover your treatment.

Detoxification is the important first step before getting help from a Nashville drug rehab. Most treatment providers will not admit individuals to programs if they are still actively using or trying to manage physical withdrawal symptoms.

It is important that you enter treatment with the presence of mind to be able to focus on your therapies, and that you are contributing to a safe recovery environment for your peers by not attending treatments under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Recovering from an opioid addiction on your own can lead to negative consequences, some of which can be fatal. Withdrawal symptoms from opiates can be unmanageable on your own, leading to relapse, overdose, and even death.
Quitting alcohol “cold turkey” can be harmful and even result in death. Abrupt quitting alcohol can lead to heart palpitations and rapid heart rate, high blood pressure, nausea, vomiting, tremors, and even hallucinations as well as seizures and death. Do not try to quit drinking abruptly. If you or a loved one is addicted to alcohol, seek help from a detox center.
Recovery doesn’t end once you have finished your programs at an addiction treatment center. Relapse prevention is key to maintaining your recovery. An aftercare program ensures that your transition smoothly from your rehab program to day to day life, giving you accountability and extra support as you enter your new life.
Inpatient programs are residential, meaning you live at the facility throughout the duration of your treatment and have 24/7 supervision and monitoring. An outpatient program is part time–you attend therapies during set hours and then return home or to sober living at night.

The fear of relapse is common among those in alcohol and drug abuse treatment programs. In your therapies, you will build and strengthen the skills you need to prevent relapse, but recovery is not always linear. If you find yourself actively using again, speak to your treatment team as soon as possible to determine the best course of action.

Remember: not every lapse is a relapse, and a relapse doesn’t mean failure. It is a chance to identify triggers and come back strong to your recovery.
